At InstaCake, we believe that distance should never get in the way of a real celebration. What started as a brilliant idea, sending a complete, personal-sized cake party inside a greeting card, has officially turned the page to an exciting new chapter!

InstaCake was originally created to make gifting effortless, fun, and delicious. Today, that legacy continues with fresh energy, new ideas, and a whole lot of heart.

The business has officially changed hands, and we couldn't be more thrilled to lead InstaCake into its next evolution. As a family team based right here on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia, we are proud to transform InstaCake into a fully female-owned and operated local family business.

Meet the Family Behind the Cake

Hi! I’m Merie, and alongside my daughters Nola and Gracie, we are the hands and heart behind every single InstaCake kit that leaves our shop.

As a mother-daughter team, we handle the manufacturing, product assembly, and daily shipping. Of course, it takes a full family effort to keep things running smoothly. My husband, Ben, keeps all our IT and machines working behind the scenes (and steps in whenever there are heavy boxes to move!).

Living and working on Vancouver Island inspires everything we do, from supporting local retail partners to crafting products that bring genuine smiles across Canada and beyond. As a family, we know firsthand how important it is to cherish everyday moments, celebrate wins big and small, and send a little extra love to the people who matter most.
